New Appointment Set To Drive Growth For SecuricladPosted: March 13th, 2018
Securiclad has appointed a new technical sales engineer to help further expand its national presence.
Michael Higginbotham has joined our team as a technical sales engineer, a role that will see him further drive and develop growth opportunities for the business on a national scale.
Michael will be responsible for promoting the full portfolio of our physical security products, as well as generating new business opportunities in key target markets. In addition to his work in sales, he will also work closely with clients to further develop the company’s relationships, co-ordinate quotations and manage key account activities.
Originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland, Michael has more than 10 years’ experience in the architectural and computer-aided design fields as well as strong business development and sales. He previously held roles as facilities officer for the NHS, as well as extensive experience gained during a tenure at a Water Treatment Facility.
Commenting on his appointment, Michael Higginbotham said: “In today’s challenging security environment – where the threat of terrorism heightens the need for physical protection – the opportunity to work for a company that combats threats to security was particularly appealing to me.
“Securiclad has a fantastic reputation for providing comprehensive and bespoke systems that are at the forefront of physical security solutions. I am thrilled to be joining the team and look forward to utilising my experience in support of the company’s ambitious growth plans.”
Mike McColl, managing director of Securiclad, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Michael to the team. His combination of account management and technical product knowledge will be invaluable in helping us to manage our growth while continuing to provide high-quality products and offering an exceptional level of customer care.
“2018 has already been a year of continued growth for Securiclad as we have further expanded our service offering and invested in our team.”
Michael’s appointment comes at a time of growth for Securiclad as last year we launched Ballisticlad, an enhanced ballistic protection system. In addition, we also developed an enhanced modular construction system now certified up to Loss Prevention Standard (LPS) 1175 Security Rating (SR) 5, designed to withstand attempts at forced entry using high powered tools.
In line with this growth Securiclad also recently appointed a new draughtsman and CAD engineer.< back
