Does Securiclad come in different colour finishes?

Yes. The product can be supplied in a range of different colours and finishes. These can also be different on each side of the Securiclad panel.

What is the weight of the Securiclad product?

A typical panel with a mineral wool core to SR4 level weighs approximately 54kg per m2. This is the reason our nominated contractors utilise specialised lifting equipment when installing the product.

What is the lead time for Securiclad?

Can the core of the product be varied to satisfy differing insulation requirements?

Yes, we can vary the core material to satisfy both insulation and fire rating requirements.

What is the maximum span that can be achieved by a Securiclad ceiling panel?

The maximum span which can be utilised in a single panel length is 4.5 metres. Beyond this, there is a requirement for the introduction of additional steelwork to support.

Do you offer a site survey service?

Yes. Securiclad are happy to offer a free on-site survey to evaluate the requirements of any project. Please contact our sales department on +44 (0) 191 258 5052 or email sales@securiclad.co.uk to arrange this.

I require penetrations to go through the panel. Is this possible?

Yes. We have a range of Securiclad-compatible products which are used to combat any site specific penetration or access requirements you may have.

How large can I make a penetration in the panel?

Penetrations can be up to 70mm in diameter without the need for the hole to be ‘sleeved’. Thereafter, Securiclad offer a range of collars/sleevings and penetration covers to ensure compliance.
